It is shaved dried bonito from Japan, for dashi stock. Directions; Bring 600ml water to a boil. Put in about 15〜20g the katsuobushi. Turn off the heat immediately and wait for a few minutes. Never keep boilng. Strain it and get rid of katsuobushi.
You can enjoy genuine katsuo-dashi at home.
