Houtou is a one pot dish which vegetables, meat, and wheat noodles are simmered in miso based soup, and a specialty of Yamanashi Prefecture. Pumpkin is an essential ingredient.
Easy cooking with enclosed soup!

Directions (2servings); Bring 1100ml water to a boil. Put your favorite ingredients (pumpkin, carrot, naganegi, mushroom, pork and chicken etc). When it comes to a boil again, put noodles in it, and simmer for 8 minutes. Put the soup paste, simmer for 2 minutes further.

Ingredients; noodles(wheat, salt), soup(miso, sugar, extract of dried bonito,chicken, negi and shiitake mushroom, alcohol, sesame, oyster sauce and sesame oil
