Lotus root kimpira

h3>Ingredients:

  • 300g lotus root
  • 1 red hot pepper
  • 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
  • A (2 tbsp sake, 3/4 cup dashi stock, 1/2 tbsp mirin, 1 tbsp soy sauce)



Directions;


1. Slice the lotus root into 1 to 2 mm thick pieces. Soak the pieces in water for 10 minutes and drain.

2. Remove seeds from the red pepper and cut it into thinly sliced rings. Heat the sesame oil, and stir-fry the red pepper and the lotus poot over high heat.

3. When the excess moisture is gone, add the ingredients in A and reduce heat to medium. Stir-fry occasionally until all the moisture is gone.
