Ohitashi(soy sauce flavored boiled spinach)

Directions;


1.Wash spinach thoroughly, cut the roots off it.

2.Bring a pot full of water to a boil(add 2tsp salt), and put the spinach stems, starting at the harder part, then boil briefly.

3.Cool quickly with cold water. This will help the spinach retain its dark green color.

4.Squeeze out water and cut spinach to desired length.

5.pour the soy sauce mix A over the spinach and mix well. Sprinkle it with shaved dried bonito.

* When boiling greens, be careful not to overcook them.
* This dish can be prepared with various vegetables such as green asparagus, green beens, ripe blossoms and so on.
* You can pour Ponzu instead of the soy sauce mix A.
